The Audit
& Blueprint.

A full professional read of your site,
and the words to rebuild it already written.

Most audits tell you what’s broken and leave you to fix it. This one tells you what’s broken, shows you what to build instead, and hands you the words already written. One document in your inbox within five working days. You answer a handful of questions straight after you order. Everything else is handled.

  • Five working days
  • The full $997 comes off your build, within 90 days
  • About ten minutes of your time
The whole thing, in two steps

Step One

The Audit.

Where your site is now, and what it’s costing you.

Step Two

The Blueprint.

What to build instead, and the words to build it with.

An audit tells you what’s wrong. A blueprint is something you build from. This is both, which is why it’s called both.

Someone Who Did This
“Her initial website audit was thorough, insightful and provided a clear roadmap for improvement. From there through to execution, the process was seamless. Her work is clean, efficient and backed by a wealth of expertise. I couldn’t fault her professionalism or skill.”
Sharon Gibson

document.

Sixteen pages, free, no email required. It’s written for Fairweather Physiotherapy, a physio clinic in Whangārei that doesn’t exist. Anna isn’t a client. Everything else is real: the scores, the reasoning, the copy, all written exactly as they would be for you.

The full document runs 30 to 40 pages depending on the size of your site. The sample shows one slice of each section, so you can see the shape of the thing before you spend anything.

For the site
you wince at.

You paid real money for your website. Three years ago, five, maybe eight. The person who built it has moved on, and the site has quietly gone stale. Old prices, old services, a photo that doesn’t look like you anymore.

The question nagging you isn’t “do I need a website.” You have one. The question is “can this one be saved, or is it time to start again?”

That’s what the Blueprint answers. With evidence, not a sales pitch. Sometimes the honest answer is a handful of fixes and a rewrite. Sometimes it’s a rebuild. The document tells you which, and either way you get the words to do it with.

You need an existing website for this.

If you’re established on social and haven’t got a site yet, there’s nothing here to audit and you shouldn’t buy this. Book the free chat instead and we’ll start in the right place.

Nobody reads
all of it.

Two people buy this and they want opposite things, so the document tells you at the front which parts are yours.

If you’d rather it was handled

Read the summary and your options at the end. Skip the middle unless you’re curious. No homework, no login, no thirty-page reading list. That’s the whole promise and a document that ignored it would be a strange way to keep it.

If you want to do it yourself

Read all of it and use every piece of the Toolkit. Start with the quick wins, then the page copy. You might never build with me, and that’s a completely fine outcome. It’s what makes the three options honest rather than a funnel in a disguise.

Straight after payment you land on the intake questions and answer them there and then. About ten minutes. If it’s not a good moment, you’ll also get an email with a link so you can come back to it whenever suits. Your five working days start when your answers come through, not when you pay, so the sooner you send them the sooner you’ve got it. The 90-day credit window starts the day your document lands.

Fifteen things. All of them yours.

This isn’t a report card. It’s the complete working document for fixing your site, written so it works whoever does the fixing: you, your current web person, or me. Thirty to forty pages depending on the size of your site.

Step One

The Audit

01

Full site audit, scored

Every page scored out of 25 across clarity, audience fit, CTA quality, proof and messaging. Overall site score out of 50. Not a vibe. An actual number with the reasoning underneath it.

02

The ten-second test

Can a cold visitor tell what you do, who for, and why it matters, from your hero alone? Pass, partial or fail, with the exact wording that made the call.

03

Path to purchase map

How many clicks from landing to enquiry. Where people fall out. Where the path breaks entirely.

04

Trust check

Eight trust signals scored present, partial or missing. Three or more missing is a conversion problem, and most sites have four.

05

Ownership check

Who your domain is registered to, when it expires, what platform you’re on, whether your content can come off it, and whether you could leave tomorrow if you wanted to. Anything I can’t verify becomes a question for you, never an accusation.

06

Risk-tagged findings

Every problem tagged revenue-blocking now, brand risk, or backlog. So you know what’s costing you money today and what can wait until winter.

Step Two

The Blueprint

07

Market opportunity brief

Five to eight sourced data points on your market, NZ data where it exists. Every claim carries a link, so you can check it.

08

Named customer profiles

Two or three real-feeling people, not categories. Name, situation, the trigger moment that sends them looking, the exact phrase they type into Google, what they need to see, and the doubt holding them back written in their own voice.

09

Competitor snapshot

Two or three direct competitors read properly, not skimmed. What they do well, where the gap is, what they charge if it’s visible. Plus the clearest positioning opening left on the shelf for you.

10

Before and after site structure

Your site now on the left, the site you should have on the right. Kept, merged, cut or new marked on every page. One table, the whole recommendation, no reading required.

11

Design and platform direction

What to keep, what to change, colour direction, photography direction, and what to set up on the platform you’re already on.

12

Prioritised action list and 90-day measurement plan

Quick wins you can do this week with no budget, then phase two, then three or four specific things to watch so you know whether any of it worked.

13

Page-by-page copy

Every page of the new structure, written in your voice, not mine. Headline, subheading, every section, primary and secondary CTA. Plus before-and-after on your two or three weakest pages, using your exact current wording so the difference is undeniable.

14

Paste-ready SEO metadata

Title tag and meta description for every page, in one table. Copy, paste, done.

15

The Toolkit

The bit nobody else hands over.

Your one-liner

Primary and alternate. The sentence a stranger repeats back correctly.

Bio pack

Short bio, long bio, LinkedIn opener, Google Business Profile description, social one-liner. All labelled, so you know where each one goes.

FAQ bank

Six to ten real questions, starting with the objection that’s actually costing you the sale, answered head-on. These also help you show up when buyers ask AI tools about your category.

Testimonial request email

Subject line included. Ready to send to three past clients today.

“It wasn’t generic advice, it was specific to my business. She took the time to really understand what I do and who I’m trying to reach. The structure, messaging and page by page copy she put together was spot on, way better than I could’ve articulated myself.”
Jess · Relish Nutrition · Google review

The Maths

Buying this in pieces
costs five to nine grand.

Every number on this list came off a public NZ pricing page. Nothing is inflated, because it doesn’t need help.

And buying it separately means finding four different people, briefing each one, and hoping the copywriter’s version of your audience matches the strategist’s. Here it’s one brain, one week, one document.

One-off website or SEO audit $800 – $2,000
Market research and competitor analysis $600 – $1,200
Customer profiles or personas $400 – $800
Site structure recommendation $300 – $600
Page-by-page copywriting, six pages $1,770 – $2,100
SEO metadata across the site $200 – $400
One-liner and bio pack $300 – $600
FAQ bank $300 – $600
Testimonial request template $100 – $200
Design and platform direction $300 – $600
Total, buying it separately $5,070 – $9,100
The Audit & Blueprint $997

NZD, GST exclusive · NZ market rates, current

Where those numbers come from: NZ copywriters charge from $295 a page on multi-page projects, so six pages lands between $1,770 and $2,100. NZ copywriting agencies bill around $115 an hour, and the research, profiles and structure work is eight to twelve hours of that. One-off audits here sit between $800 and $2,000. The $100 automated ones are a tool report with a logo on it.

The Obvious Question

So why is it
only $997?

Because it’s the front door, and I’d rather you found out what working with me is like before you spend $3,800.

That’s the whole reason. It isn’t a loss leader with a catch in it and it isn’t a mistake in the pricing. And if you do go on to build within 90 days, the $997 comes off, so it’s cost you nothing in the end.

An audit hands you a list of problems. This hands you the finished words.

The Method, Published

A score with no rubric
is an opinion with a number stuck on it.

So here’s the whole rubric before you’ve spent anything. Every page is scored out of 25, five dimensions, one to five each. Score your own homepage while you’re here.

Clarity 1Can’t tell what the page is about 3Clear, but it takes effort 5Obvious from the headline alone
Audience fit 1Speaks to nobody in particular 3Audience implied, not addressed 5The right person knows instantly it’s for them
CTA quality 1No CTA, or “Submit” 3There’s a CTA, but it’s generic 5Specific, active, low friction
Proof 1No testimonials or trust signals 3Some proof, but generic 5Named, specific, matched to the audience
Messaging alignment 1Contradicts what the business wants 3Loosely related 5Every element serves the goal

Then the site is scored out of 50.

Your average page score out of 25, plus an SEO baseline out of 25: title tags, meta descriptions, H1 headings, internal linking and Google Business Profile, five points each.

40 – 50 Strong foundation. Refine, don’t rebuild.
30 – 39 Moderate. Real problems, fixable ones.
20 – 29 Weak. The site is costing you enquiries.
Under 20 Critical. It’s working against you.

What it deliberately doesn’t measure

Page speed, technical performance, backlinks, ad performance, or anything needing analytics access you haven’t given me.

Naming the limits is what makes the rest of it credible.

Turnaround

Five working days.

One week from the day I have what I need, you’ve got the whole thing. Not a three-week discovery phase for four times the money.

The clock starts when I’ve got your answers, not when you pay. So the sooner you send them, the sooner you’ve got it.

Three Ways Forward

You own it either way.

The document ends with three options: do it yourself, hand it to your web person, or come to me. No recommendation, no pressure.

The Blueprint works the same in all three hands.

Not sure it’s the right first step?

Then don’t
buy it yet.

If you’re not sure whether your site needs a rewrite or a full rebuild, book the free 20-minute chat first. I’ll look at your site before we talk, tell you honestly which path fits, and if the answer is “just fix these three things,” I’ll say so and you’ve spent nothing. Not a phone person? Send the contact form with your website link and I’ll give you the same straight answer by email.

The Blueprint is for when you want the full evidence in writing. The chat, or the form, is for when you want a straight answer fast. All fine places to start.

Already sure? Then start here.

The questions people actually ask.

What is the Audit & Blueprint?

It’s two things in one document. Most audits tell you what’s broken and leave you to fix it. This one tells you what’s broken, shows you what to build instead, and hands you the words already written. Step one is the audit: where your site is now, and what it’s costing you. Step two is the blueprint: what to build instead, and the words to build it with. An audit tells you what’s wrong. A blueprint is something you build from.

How much does the Audit & Blueprint cost?

$997 NZD + GST, one-time. Buying the same work from four different people in New Zealand runs between $5,070 and $9,100: a one-off audit is $800 to $2,000, market research and competitor analysis $600 to $1,200, customer profiles $400 to $800, six pages of copywriting $1,770 to $2,100, and so on. Every one of those figures came off a public New Zealand pricing page.

Why is it only $997?

Because it’s the front door, and I’d rather you found out what working with me is like before you spend $3,800. It isn’t a loss leader with a catch in it and it isn’t a mistake in the pricing. And if you do go on to build within 90 days, the $997 comes off, so it’s cost you nothing in the end.

What happens straight after I pay?

You land on the intake questions and answer them there and then. About ten minutes, a handful of questions, no login and no homework. If it’s not a good moment, you’ll also get an email with a link so you can come back to it whenever suits. Everything after that is handled.

How long does it take?

Five working days. One week from the day I have what I need. The clock starts when I’ve got your answers, not when you pay, so the sooner you send them the sooner you’ve got it.

Do I need an existing website?

Yes. If you’re established on social and haven’t got a site yet, there’s nothing here to audit and you shouldn’t buy it. Book the free 20-minute chat instead and we’ll start in the right place.

What happens if I go on to build with you?

Build within 90 days of your document landing and the full $997 comes off your build price. Not credited toward. Off. The Build starts at $3,800 + GST, so it’s $2,803 + GST to go. And if you don’t build, the document is still yours, still complete, and still useful with any developer you choose.

How is my website scored?

Every page is scored out of 25, across five dimensions worth one to five each: clarity, audience fit, CTA quality, proof, and messaging alignment. The site is then scored out of 50, which is your average page score out of 25 plus an SEO baseline out of 25 covering title tags, meta descriptions, H1 headings, internal linking and Google Business Profile. 40 to 50 is a strong foundation, 30 to 39 is moderate, 20 to 29 means the site is costing you enquiries, and under 20 is critical. The full rubric is published above so you can check the reasoning and disagree with it.

What does it deliberately not measure?

Page speed, technical performance, backlinks, ad performance, or anything needing analytics access you haven’t given me. Naming the limits is what makes the rest of it credible.

Can I see one before I buy?

Yes. There’s a free 16-page sample, no email required. It’s written for Fairweather Physiotherapy, a physio clinic in Whangārei that doesn’t exist. Everything else is real: the scores, the reasoning and the copy are written exactly as they would be for you. Full documents run 30 to 40 pages depending on the size of your site.

Does it work on my platform?

WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Shopify, Rocketspark, custom builds. The platform guidance is written for whatever your site actually runs on. It covers sites up to eight pages. If you’ve got more than eight pages, or something more complex, email lian@yourhq.co.nz before purchasing and I’ll tell you straight whether it fits.
