One Conversation.
I Handle Everything Else.
No copy to write. No designer to brief. No platform to learn. No project to manage.
You talk. I build your digital home. Most clients are live within 3 to 4 weeks of saying yes.
Not sure a new site is where you should start? Check out the Audit & Blueprint first.
It starts with a chat.
Not a contract.
Book a free 20-minute Website Chat. No prep, no pitch, no homework. You tell me what’s going on, I look at whatever you’ve already got before we talk, and I tell you honestly what I’d do in your shoes. If I’m not the right fit, I’ll say so and point you somewhere better.
Not a phone person? Completely fine, it’s not for everyone. Fill in the contact form instead and we’ll do the whole thing in writing. Same honesty, same proposal, no call required.
If we’re a fit, you get a proposal within a couple of days. One page. Your site, what it includes, what it costs to build, what the monthly care number is. In writing, no surprises, no obligation.
Say yes, and I book you in. I take on a limited number of builds each month, so every site gets done properly and nobody already on my books waits for support. If the month is full, I’ll tell you straight and hold your spot in the next one.
Already got a website?
Not sure you need
a new one?
Start with the evidence.
If you’ve already got a site and you’re genuinely not sure whether it needs replacing, don’t start with a build. Start with the Audit & Blueprint. Every page of your current site scored, a recommended new structure, and page-by-page copy already written in your voice. One document, $997 + GST, five working days.
Sometimes the honest answer is a handful of fixes and a rewrite. Sometimes it’s a rebuild. The document tells you which. And if you decide you do want a new site, build with me within 90 days and the full $997 comes off your build price. So finding out has cost you nothing in the end.
You don’t become
the project manager.
Not even close.
You’re not here to manage a build. You’re here because you want this off your plate. Permanently, properly, by someone who knows what they’re doing.
So here’s the deal. You talk once, you give feedback once, and then you don’t hear from me until there’s something worth seeing.
Most clients spend less than an hour on their end, start to live site.
That’s not a selling point. That’s just how this should work.
The Call
Your time: 20 minutes
Free, twenty minutes, no prep and no pitch. You tell me what’s going on. I look at whatever you’ve already got before we talk, and I tell you honestly what I’d do in your shoes.
This is the only way in. There’s no checkout for a build, because I’m not willing to sell you one before I know what you actually need.
If I’m not the right fit, I’ll say so and point you somewhere better. No pitch either way.
Free
Twenty minutes, no obligation.
The Proposal
Your time: reading an email
After the call you get a written proposal by email. What I’d build, what it costs, and what happens when.
Anything outside the standard scope is priced in the proposal, so the number you’re looking at is the whole number. No surprises later, no line items appearing halfway through.
You don’t chase a quote. You don’t get a number over the phone you can’t check. It’s in writing.
A Written Proposal
Everything priced, in one email.
Payment Secures Your Slot
Your time: one payment
Payment in full before the build starts. That’s what holds your place in the queue, and it’s why I can cap how many builds I take at once.
You’re not locked in by paying. At the private preview, before you’ve asked for a single change, you can still walk away with a full refund minus payment processing fees and any domain registration already paid for.
One payment, then the work starts. No deposit, then chasing.
Paid In Full
GST added on all invoices. Your slot is held from here.
The Interview
Your time: one conversation
Two ways in, both covering the same ground. The Drive-Home Interview: ring my AI assistant whenever suits. In the car on the way home, between meetings, on the couch. You just talk.
It asks the questions that pull out your story. Your work, your clients, the things that make you unmistakably you. Most people are surprised by what comes out.
The Kitchen Table Interview is the same interview in writing. The same questions, filled in at your own pace, no login, no talking required. There is no wrong answer here, and one is not better than the other. Do the one you would actually finish.
You don’t write a brief. You don’t prepare anything. Talk it through, or type it out.
About 15 Minutes
One conversation, spoken or written.
The Content Raid
Your time: zero
While you’re getting on with your life, I go through your existing digital footprint. Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Google Reviews, your existing site, anywhere you already show up.
I pull photos, testimonials, media mentions, business details. The good stuff you’ve probably forgotten you have. You don’t send me a thing.
You don’t dig through your camera roll. You don’t compile a folder. You don’t send me anything. I find it.
I work with what’s actually there. If your existing content is strong, I’ll use it. If it’s thin or low quality, I’ll tell you honestly before we build, and we’ll talk about what’s needed to get the site to the standard it deserves. I won’t build something that undersells you just because we’re working around bad source material.
You Sign Off Every Word
Your time: one read, one round of notes
I turn your interview and everything the raid pulled up into the full copy deck. Every page, every section, written in your voice.
It lands in a private review portal: each section laid out clearly with a comment field beside it. You read it, you tell me what’s right and what isn’t, and I make the changes.
Nothing gets built until you’ve signed off the copy word by word. This is the part most people never get, and it’s the reason the finished site sounds like you instead of sounding like a website.
You don’t write a word. You don’t stare at a blank page. You just tell me what feels right.
Signed Off, Word By Word
No page gets built before you approve the words on it.
The Build
Your time: zero
Every line built specifically for your site. No templates, no page builders, no plugins waiting to break. What that means for you: the site loads in under a second, nothing needs updating on your end, ever, and it’s built to be found on Google and cited when people ask AI tools a question.
Your blog is part of the build, not an extra, because businesses that publish get found and businesses that never change get buried. Same goes for your Google Business Profile guide, your enquiry form, and email capture you own.
You don’t check in. You don’t approve mock-ups in rounds. You don’t lose a weekend to this. I build it.

The Preview
Your time: however long you want
A private staging link. View it on your phone. Share it with whoever you want a second opinion from.
This is the milestone. Before you ask for a single change, you can still walk away with a full refund, minus payment processing fees and any domain registration already paid for. Ask for a change or approve the site and that window closes. It’s only open before launch.
Love it, we go live. Want changes, I sort them.
You see the finished thing. Not a wireframe. Not a concept. The actual site. Love it or leave it. That simple.
Love It or Leave It
Go Live
Your time: zero
Domain connected within 24 hours of your approval, in your name. Google notified. Your permanent address on the internet is set.
You don’t touch a thing. You’re live.
Permanent Address
Within 24 hours.
I Stay
Your time: a text, when you need me
This is where most web designers stop. I don’t.
Every build moves onto a Caretaker tier at launch, and your tier is quoted with the build so you know the number before you commit. Hosting, security, backups, all running quietly in the background. Updates come out of your monthly dev time. You just message me.
New service? Message me.
Media mention? Message me.
Big pivot? Message me.
Something broke? I’m on it.
Message me when something changes. That’s the whole ongoing relationship. You evolve. I keep up.
Everything below exists so you never think about your website again.
That’s the real product. But since you’re weighing this up, here’s what’s inside the build, and what each piece usually costs when you buy it separately from different people.
Your story and copy, written for you.
It comes out of one conversation, written in your voice, and you sign off every word before a single page gets built.
Market and audience research.
Who you are actually talking to, what they are weighing up, and what your competitors are saying. Done before a word of your copy is written.
The site itself, built by hand.
Built page by page rather than dragged out of a template. Loads in under a second, works properly on a phone, and you spend none of your own time on it.
A blog, ready to go.
Included, because businesses that publish get found and sites that never change get buried.
Your Google Business Profile, guided.
A step-by-step guide written for your business, because that’s where local search happens and you should own the listing from day one, not find it sitting in someone else’s account. Stuck at any point, you message me.
Found on Google, cited by AI tools.
Built in from the first line, not bolted on after. Structured data, clean markup, and an llms.txt file so the AI tools people now ask for recommendations can read your business and cite it correctly.
The unglamorous plumbing.
Enquiry form, email capture you own, socials embedded, domain in your name, hosting, security. The pieces everyone else itemises. Included.
The keys, not just the car.
Your site lives in a GitHub repository and you get access to it. Not a zip file I email you if you ask nicely, the actual repository with the actual code. So if you leave, you leave with the whole thing. And if I get hit by a bus, you still have the whole thing, and your next developer clones it and carries on. You never leave with nothing.
Two more nobody else puts in the box.
A legal set written fresh for your business, not pasted off a generator. And a documented exit path, so leaving is a real option and not just a nice line on a website.
Bought separately, that is five different people to brief, chase and pay, and weeks of you playing project manager in the middle of them.
The build is one price, from $5,000 + GST, with care from $149 a month + GST once you’re live. One job, done by one person, out of one conversation. That’s what happens when nobody’s invoicing anybody else in the middle.
Book a Website ChatWhat I Need. And What I Don’t.
What I Need
- One free 20-minute call
- One Interview (talk it or type it)
- Your business name and contact details
- One round of copy feedback
- Any logos or specific photos you want included (optional, I’ll find what I need otherwise)
What I Don’t Need
- × You writing a single word of copy
- × You briefing a designer
- × Weekly check-in meetings
- × A "website project" taking over your calendar
- × You learning anything new
You run the business. I build and look after the home.
Nobody stayed.
I stay.
Most web designers build your site, send the invoice, and move on. Three years later your site looks dated, your prices are wrong, something breaks, and you’re starting from scratch with someone new. If that’s the exact position you’re in right now, you’re not unlucky. You’re the standard result of how this industry sells websites.
I designed YourHQ around the opposite model. The monthly fee isn’t hosting. It’s a real person who knows your site, who you can message when something changes, and who keeps it fast, secure and current the whole time you’re with me.
Most agencies
Build it · Invoice it · Disappear
YourHQ
Build it · Host it · Update it · Stay
Common questions.
Do I have to write anything at all?
Nothing. I write every word, from your interview, your existing content, and one round of your feedback.
I already have a website. Is this a rebuild?
Yes, and that’s most of my clients. You’ve grown past what you have. I start fresh, in your voice, to where you are now. If you want the evidence before deciding, start with the Audit & Blueprint.
Is this for a business or a personal brand?
Both. Same standard. The difference is what’s at the centre: your business, or you.
What happens on the call?
Twenty minutes, free, no prep. You tell me what’s going on, I tell you honestly what I’d do, and if we’re a fit you get a written proposal by email. Anything outside the standard scope is priced in it, so you see the whole number before you decide. If we’re not a fit, I’ll point you somewhere better.
When do I pay?
In full, before the build starts. That’s what secures your build slot. There’s no checkout for builds and no deposit-then-chase: one payment, then the work starts.
What if I don’t love the site?
At the private preview, before you’ve asked for a single change, you can walk away with a full refund minus payment processing fees and any domain registration already paid for. Once you request a change or approve the site, that window closes. It’s only available before launch.
How much time does this take from my end?
One chat, one interview call, one round of copy feedback. Less than an hour all up, and most of that is you talking about your favourite subject.
Why do you limit builds each month?
Because every site I build, I keep. Hosting it, updating it, answering the texts, for good. The cap means every build gets done properly and the people already on my books never wait because I’m chasing the next job.
Do you work with clients outside New Zealand?
Yes, anywhere. Based in Whangārei, working globally, everything remote. Pricing is the only part that changes: New Zealand starts at $5,000 NZD + GST, Australia starts at $5,000 AUD, and anywhere else I quote you in writing before anything starts. Invoices outside New Zealand carry no New Zealand GST.
What if my existing photos and content aren’t very good?
I’ll tell you, honestly and early. The content raid pulls everything I can find, but I won’t use low-quality photos or outdated content just to fill space. If what’s there isn’t up to standard, we’ll work out what’s needed. That might mean a photographer, stock in the short term, or waiting until you have something worth putting up. I’d rather have that conversation upfront than build something that doesn’t represent you.
