We bridge the gap between Silicon Valley tech and Pacific hospitality. Between code and conversation.

Lian and Penny

Lian and Penny have known each other for 15 years. We've always bonded over a shared passion: Storytelling.

Recently, over coffee in Whangārei, we realized something troubling. So many of the local businesses we loved were digitally homeless. The builders, the bakers, the tradies who've been around for 20 years.

They were living entirely on Facebook or Instagram — vulnerable to algorithms they couldn't control.

We thought: This isn't right.

It's time for business owners to stop being tenants and start being owners.

So we decided to build something about it.

Lian Passmore

Lian

The Architect

Lian brings the tech. With a background in automation and AI, she ensures the "factory" runs with precision.

Lian's Story:

Grew up watching her dad run a small business — brilliant at the work, frustrated by the admin. She married someone in the trades. Same story. While studying technological futures and data sovereignty, she kept thinking: Why aren't we building tools for people like my dad? Like my husband? That became her mission: Use cutting-edge tech to empower everyday business owners.

What Lian Believes:

  • • Strong infrastructure is the highest form of care
  • • Technology should empower, not confuse
  • • Small businesses deserve Silicon Valley tools
  • • If it can be automated, it should be

Penny's Specialty:

Born from the Pacific.

Like many Pacific people raised in Aotearoa, we grew up disconnected from our heritage languages but deeply connected to the values: Service, Respect, and Stewardship.

Ownership

You own the house. No landlords.

Stewardship

We care for it, but we don't hold it hostage.

Respect

Tech should serve you, not confuse you.

These aren't borrowed concepts. They're how we were raised to do business.
